The film combines unique archival footage, previously unknown facts, and heartfelt memories of those who helped shape and develop the group whose songs became symbols of freedom, love, and resistance.

"Making this film gave us — as musicians — a unique opportunity to look back at our own 30-year journey. To recall events and moments that few people remembered, and some never even knew existed. All those performances, rehearsals, meetings, farewells, moments of joy and hardship, difficult decisions... And reflecting on all of it, you realize how many moments remained hidden from public view. In this film, we are honest and candid. Everyone who participated in the shoot, everyone who at different stages was part of OE's life and path."Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, leader of Okean Elzy

"During production, we went through an enormous amount of archival material to build a complete picture of Okean Elzy's story. We conducted dozens of hours of candid interviews with former and current band members, as well as people who were close to the band throughout their journey. Whether you listen to them every day or only know their biggest hits — the significance of this band extends far beyond music. This film will allow everyone to understand how Okean Elzy became a legendary phenomenon for our country."Maksym Serdiuk, producer

The film was released in Ukrainian cinemas on November 6, 2025. It also screened in 17 countries and 50 cities worldwide.
